Has anybody used Inkscape and Affinity before? I have always been using Illustrator but as a student my income is unable to pay off my software bills now so I have thought of going for some free options now. I feel a little anxious and just wanted to know if anybody switched from illustrator to anyother software and how was the experience?

For those who wanted to see the actual font installation, here's what you'd do: (After installing the Figma font installer as shown in the video) 1. Locate the font file you've purchased and downloaded onto your computer (it'll be a .ttf, or .otf) then double click to open it. 2. A window will appear prompting you to install the font on your computer; do so then close that window. 3. Go back to your Figma tab and refresh the page. 4. Go to your text in Figma, search the name of your font and you'll find it. Note: everytime you install a new font, you will have to refresh Figma in order for it to register it in the app.

We need to be able to move comments to new versions of files. When i duplicate a figma file, I should have the option to also have comments duplicated. Anyone know a method or plugin to do this?

This is definitely not the best alternative to Illustrator. illustrator can do a lot more than figma when it comes to illustration. But Figma has it's own advantages, that is why it's best for app and web designs and prototyping for teams.

Do you know how one could create a column next to folder sizes that would show an item count in each folder ?

This is awesome. I can use this trick now to fit all my powerpoint exports into videos without needing to adjust the scaling in the editing software.

Be careful connecting a domain once you do you’ll need a premium account to move your domain to a new site. Leave your domain unconnected and site unpublished to maximize your options at least until your happy with your site. If you make any mistakes like I did you will thank me

not really helpfull for me, so i have some vertically long rectangles and i need to place them with a certain spacing, in illustrator u can copy paste the guides as u please but i need to measure and place in ps??? isnt there some way to do this without wasting time on math??

Upscale is NOT Enhance!!! If you have a hi-res blurry photo, upscale does nothing, you need Enhance. Please don't say, "Enhancer" and waste my time talking about an upscaler! Very annoying.

I'm not getting notes tab besides the live tab in the Canva

Take a look at the comments section Photoshop. EVERYONE HATES THEM! At least make it easier to turn them off, like a "keep showing button" when the popup comes on, or right click on the popup to disable OR name it TURN OFF VIDEO POPUPS instead of Rich Tool Tips. How was I supposed to know rich tool tips was the video popup?!
